JOHN HUNT JUNIOR SPORTSMANSHIP AWARD

The Junior Sportsmanship award was introduced in memoriam of former club president John Hunt, to be awarded annually.

John Hunt was the President of the Leaside Tennis Club 1968-1970 and 2006- 2009. 

John Hunt was a man of honour, on and off the tennis court, and believed that tennis was an excellent way to instill these values into young people.

Sheila and Stuart Hunt, his wife and son, presented the inaugural award to Thomas Lawlor at the 2014 Leaside Tennis Club AGM.
